The last time hash cash was raised was in 2013… a decade ago. To ensure the kennel can function properly, keep up with inflation, and provide better beverages to hashers we needed to up the price of trail. To match the buying power of $6 in 2013, we would have to raise hash cash to $7.64 (a 27% increase). To match inflation, we’d need to raise trail price to $8. By raising to $10 now, we will strategically position the kennel for longevity, prosperity, and all things hashy.

We’re so glad you asked! WH4 will no longer be policing slut water and will provide “good beer” that isn’t just IPAs. (Think seasonal shit like sours, stouts, porters, craft lagers, pilsners, etc. etc.). We will also of course have better orange food/snacks, water and soda on trail.

We also plan to use some of the money to offset event costs in the future.

Yeah we get it. We have to pay this too (except sober GM, hares, and brew crew).

Beer, food, fuel, repairs, and insurance for the van, the website. Plus, the kennel contributes (when it can afford to) to help offset the cost of AGM and Campout.

Cost of other WH4 events will not increase as a result of trail prices increasing. While we can’t promise other factors beyond our control won’t influence those costs, raising hash cash for weekly trail will help prevent those prices from increasing too.

Yes! You can. Keep in mind though when paying direct via PayPal you need to add in the fee on top of hash cash. PP no longer offers us “Friends and Family” option (boo hiss!). 

Cold hard CASH money is always accepted.
